Which is what happened with Female Chauvinists, although the inserts are, for the most part, well enough integrated that it probably fooled most of its audience. One the other hand, the original version wasn't entirely soft-core in the first place and crossed the line with some masturbation scenes (note Debbie and the bottle), as well as some oral sex which is somewhat obscured by the camera but definitely not faked.
