Barbara Dare's Rome Adventure

Description: Vito (played by the incomparable F.J. Lincoln) cannot understand why his daughter, Barbara (Barbara Dare) has not come back from Rome with a fistful of olive oil contracts. He decides to send his niece, Antonia (Porsche Lynn) to Italy to find her and bring her back home. So begins this romantic romp around the Eternal City as Barbara and Antonia manage to consistently miss running into each other. They do, however, manage to meet up with a hilarious assortment of amorous adventures. First, there's Don Giovanni (Joey Silvera) and his screaming, dish-throwing wife. Then, there's the oversexed Giancarlo (John Leslie) who would proposition a statue if the need arose. There's Gino (Roberto Malone) and his wife Giselle (Danny Herbelin) who tried to stuff her home-made pasta down Antonia's throat. And, of course, there's that handsome bell-boy back at the hotel. Finally, Vito decides to visit Rome himself in order to bring both girls home. It doesn't take very long for him to discover why his girls have not returned, and, as a matter-of-fact, why they should remain in Rome just a little while longer...

Sylvia Bourdon (Candcie) is a magazine editor who discusses sex freely but is frigid. Her sister, Candy, is Beatrice Harnois, who is far from frigid. Her secretary, Odile, is played by Liliane Lemieuvre. Bikers Richard Lemievre and Marc, a performer in stag film loops(Patrick Lynonnet) also seem to work for her, along with Anita (Martine Grimaud), a blonde (France Quenie), a brunette (called Martine, Karine [2]) and a black girl, Claudine (Jocelyne Clairis, probably credited as Joyce Martin). A cute brunette (Chantal Fourquet) is Florence, a friend of Beatrice Harnois. Gabriel Pontello is a doctor who examines Beatrice and whom she lusts after.

After a brief scene with a young man before the credits, Beatrice Harnois has a b/g scene with Richard Lemieuvre. The following is then interspersed amongst editorial discussions at the magazine and discussions of Candice's frigity among her staff. Liliane Lemievre has a b/g scene with Richard Lemieuvre while watching Marc's porn home movie (brunette in bath and b/g). Candy (Beatrice) meets Marc coming out of Florence's apartment complaining that she is frigid. Candy comforts Claudine and seduces her into a g/g with session. Martine Gimaud and the blonde (France Quenie) are lesbian lovers and Martine is jealous of her lover and Marc, but they have a g/g session and Marc joins in, turning on Martine to men.

Candice has arranged for Dr. Benoit to telephone her about an article byt Candice takes the call and fancies his voice. she then arranges to see him for a consultation under another name. He conducts a vaginal examination and she tries to seduce him, but he rejects her advances. She daydreams of sex with him while using a dildo on herself.

Ta Mey I Dalen (Countrylife) is a Swedish film with three American performers. Sweden's liberal attitude toward sexuality remains more tolerant than that of the USA. It was this way even as far back as 1967, when Vilgot Sjoman's "I Am Curious (Yellow)" became the first movie with explicit sex to get theatrical playdates in the USA. Until recently, on-screen depiction of violence was prohibited in Swedish cinema. So Swedish directors had to find edges around to which to suggest aggression. Here is one example.

Chris Chittel owns a farm. He has a dominant-male attitude. When he wants sex, he expects his female staff to immediately cease what they are doing and satisfy him. His American cousin (Eric Edwards) is visiting. C. Chittel tries to imbue his beliefs upon E. Edwards; but his way does not work for his cousin.

The European women in this film, including Jacqueline Laurent (absolutely stunning for a 55-year-old), are beautiful, attainable, and fresh. You'll love them all. The threat of violence is provided by C. Chittel's housekeeper, who loathes him and the entire lascivious atmosphere. She is planting dynamite all around the farm, intending to explode it off the face of the earth.

You can surmise that she is halted in her plan. You might even be able to guess how and by whom she is stopped. I believe you will agree with me that films like this succeed in making explicit hardcore sex more palatable to those who have only seen what lines the shelves at video stores today.
